1. Data Controller
The data controller for the personal data collected through this website is:
Via Don G. Dossetti, 7 — 42021 Bibbiano Corniano (RE), Italy
VAT / Tax Code 00337760359
Email: info@bottegadelfuoco.it
Phone: +39 0522 882467
2. What data we collect and why
We collect personal data only when you choose to provide it, by filling in one of the forms on the website: quote request, assistance request (whether or not you own one of our stoves), or a B2B collaboration proposal for companies. All forms first require confirming your email with a 6-digit code, to prevent automated or non-genuine submissions. During normal browsing we do not collect direct identifying data (name, email, etc.). If you consent to the optional categories in the cookie banner, however, some third-party tools (Google Analytics for visit statistics, Meta Pixel for Facebook/Instagram advertising) process technical browsing data: details, including purposes and retention periods, are in our Cookie Policy.
| Data collected | Purpose |
|---|---|
| First and last name | To identify you and address you correctly in our reply |
| Email and phone number | To contact you in your preferred way |
| State and municipality of residence (quote form) | To assess the feasibility of the work and arrange any on-site inspections |
| Product line of interest, model owned or type of request, and message | To understand what you are looking for and prepare a tailored reply |
| Photos of the space or part to replace (optional) | To better assess your request |
| Company name, country, VAT number, role and website (collaborations form) | To evaluate the business collaboration proposal |
| IP address | To prevent abuse and automated submissions (spam) to the forms |
3. Legal basis for processing
The processing of data collected through the website's forms is based on the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6.1.b of EU Regulation 2016/679) and, where applicable, on your explicit consent expressed at the time of submitting the form.
4. How we process data and where it is stored
The data you send through a form on the website is:
- sent by email to our corporate mailbox, allowing us to read it and reply to you;
- saved in a password-protected database, hosted on servers located in Italy, accessible exclusively by authorised Bottega del Fuoco staff through a protected private area.
We do not sell or rent your data to third parties. The data you submit through the website's forms (name, email, request and similar) stays between us and our technical providers for hosting, database and email (currently Register S.p.A.), strictly to the extent necessary to provide the service, acting as data processors. If you consent to the optional categories in the cookie banner, technical browsing data — distinct from form data — is also processed by Google Ireland Limited (visit statistics, in aggregate and anonymised form) and by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (measurement of Facebook/Instagram advertising and remarketing to people who already visited the site): details, including legal bases and retention periods, are in our Cookie Policy.
Authorised staff may also export, from the same protected reserved area, a summary list of requests already handled (essential identifying data, request and date), useful for internal work organisation. The file remains strictly for internal use, is not shared with third parties, and the data it contains remains subject to the same retention rules described in point 5.
5. How long we retain data
We retain the data of a request (quote, assistance or collaboration) for the time necessary to handle it:
- if the request is still awaiting a reply, the data is retained until we contact you;
- once we have replied, the data stays in our records for an indefinite period, so that we can recognise you and find your file again if you write to us years later — which happens often with a stove that lasts decades: a spare part, advice on maintenance, a second stove;
- when we delete a record, it first goes to an internal bin and stays there for 60 days, so that a mistake can be undone; after that it is permanently deleted from the database.
If you wish your data to be deleted before this period, you may request it at any time by writing to info@bottegadelfuoco.it. Any legal obligations that require data retention (e.g. preservation of commercial or accounting correspondence, should a contract or collaboration be entered into) are excluded from this automatic deletion and follow the terms set out by Italian tax and civil law.
6. Your rights
At any time, as a data subject, you have the right to request:
- Access to the personal data we process about you;
- Rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten"), unless legal obligations require its retention;
- Restriction of processing in certain cases;
- Portability of data, in a structured and readable format;
- Objection to processing, in certain cases.
To exercise these rights, write to info@bottegadelfuoco.it. If you believe that the processing of your data violates current legislation, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali) at www.garanteprivacy.it.
7. Minors
The website is freely accessible to anyone, and the forms on the website do not include any age verification. Our services are nonetheless intended for adults: if a minor sends us their personal data without the consent of the person exercising parental responsibility, Bottega del Fuoco cannot be held responsible, as we have no means of verifying this at the time of submission. Whoever exercises parental responsibility may at any time request that the data be deleted by writing to info@bottegadelfuoco.it.
8. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated over time, for example in the event of changes to legislation or the services used by the website. The date of the last update is always indicated at the top of this page.
9. Contact
For any questions about this policy or the processing of your data, please write to info@bottegadelfuoco.it or call us at +39 0522 882467.
